Director of Accounting - GS - 2365

    To $170K + Bonus
    Red Bank, NJ

    Responsible for oversight of the Accounting and related activities.  
    Responsible for oversight of payroll administration and for income taxes.
    Supervise accounting support staff 
    Manage general ledger closing cycle for all non-related entities.
    Review journal entries and account reconciliations in support of the closing process as needed.
    Review and Prepare quarterly and annual information for inclusion in press release 10-Q and 10-K.
    Conduct Accounting research
    Assist FP&A in preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
    Develop and maintain accounting policies.
    Oversee the corporate tax function.
    Monitor and analyze existing effective GAAP and tax reporting.
    Maintain internal control / SOX compliance.
    Recruit, Supervise and develop accounting staff.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor,s degree in accounting
    Master's degree is a plus
    CPA required.
    7 to 10 years of general accounting experience.
    Strong SEC, GAAP and regulatory accounting experience.
    Combo public and private experience preferred.
