    Description:

    Responsible for assisting in technical accounting research and analysis to ensure it complies with accounting rules and regulations.
    Evaluate actual and proposed transactions related to GAAP technical issues, and the adoption of new accounting standards and related accounting policy departments.
    Interact with business unit personnel and corporate departments.
    Assist with quarterly SEC filings and earnings-related documents.
    Review 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings to ensure they are accurate and compliant with SEC requirements.
    Provide technical accounting guidance for areas including dispositions, goodwill, business combinations, revenue recognition, leases, stock compensation, pensions, capitalized software and intangible assets.
    Assist with technical accounting research to ensure compliance with applicable accounting rules.
    Assist in accounting policy projects and new accounting standards implementation.

    Requirements:
    ​
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    CPA required
    5-8 years of public or private accounting experience
    Technical accounting research experience required
    Big 4 accounting advisory experience preferred
    SEC experience required
