    Description:
     
    • Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings such as Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including preparation of workpaper support for financial statements and footnotes.
    • Assist with quarterly and annual stand-alone financial statements
    • Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain and update reporting templates and data queries.
    • Actively research new and existing accounting guidance to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC rules, including preparation of documentation for appropriate accounting and disclosure of complex business transactions and events
    • Support various aspects of the external audit, including managing audit requests to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements
    • Document internal control procedures and assist internal audit with periodic testing to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and controls pertaining to financial reporting process
    • Assist with special projects involving financial deliverables and ad hoc reporting, as needed

    Requirements:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    • 3-6  years of experience of accounting and reporting principles
    • Public accounting experience and CPA preferred
    • Knowledge of SAP, HFM, and Wdesk preferred
    • Three years of SEC reporting experience
    • Knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and computer savvy with respect to general ledger and reporting software
